How to use Compress video to 25 MB

  1. Choose or drop an MP4 or MOV video.

Questions

What limit do email services have?

Gmail, Yahoo and iCloud allow 25 MB per email and Outlook 20 MB. But attachments grow by about a third on the way, so the video itself should stay under about 18 MB (14 MB for Outlook). That’s why the limit starts at 18.

How long a video fits in 25 MB?

At the 18 MB this page starts with, about a minute and a half still looks good at 720p. Longer videos come out at a lower resolution to fit; the expected size and resolution are shown before you start.

Are my files uploaded?

No. The tool runs inside your browser, and the page is blocked from sending data anywhere. You can check by turning off your internet connection: it keeps working.
